Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Codega platform at codega.com.au (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Codega is a data intelligence platform providing ASX dividend information, franking credit analysis, grossed-up yield calculations, and AI-generated stock research summaries ("Research Cards") to assist Australian income investors and Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) trustees in their research.

Codega is not a financial adviser, stockbroker, or Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) holder. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial product advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation to engage in any investment activity.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Be a resident of Australia or access the Service from Australia; and
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access personalised features (watchlist, Research Cards) you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at hello@codega.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account.

4. Free Tier Limits

The free tier of the Service is subject to the following limits:

• Watchlist: Up to 10 ASX tickers saved to your personal watchlist.
• AI Research Cards: Up to 10 distinct ASX tickers per calendar month. Viewing a previously generated card for the same ticker does not count against this limit.

We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after any change to limits constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Australian law;
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without written permission;
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication, or security controls;
• Distribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any data or content obtained through the Service without our prior written consent;
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service in a manner that places excessive load on our infrastructure; or
• Misrepresent AI-generated Research Card content as independently verified financial advice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including the Codega name and brand, website design, screener interface, and AI-generated Research Card output — is owned by or licensed to Codega and is protected by Australian copyright and intellectual property laws.

Underlying ASX market data is sourced from third-party data providers. You may not redistribute raw market data obtained through the Service.

You retain ownership of any watchlist data or personal preferences you add to the Service.

7. AI Research Cards — Disclaimer

Research Cards are generated by an artificial intelligence language model based on publicly available financial data. They are produced automatically and have not been reviewed, verified, or endorsed by a human financial analyst.

Research Cards are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You should not rely on Research Card content as the sole basis for any investment decision.

8. Third-Party Data

Financial data displayed on the Service is sourced from third-party providers and may contain errors, delays, or omissions. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. We are not responsible for any losses arising from reliance on third-party data.

Franking credit percentages, grossed-up yields, and sustainability scores are calculated using available data and standard formulas. These calculations are estimates only and should not be used for tax lodgement purposes without independent verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Codega and its operators will not be liable for:

• Any investment loss or financial damage arising from use of the Service;
• Any loss resulting from reliance on AI-generated Research Cards;
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss; or
• Service interruptions, data inaccuracies, or third-party provider failures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, or right under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the Service is harmful to other users or to the platform.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@codega.com.au.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
